The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten ongoing program encourages you to read 1,000 books to your child before they enter kindergarten. Just read 3 books a day for 1 year and it will add up to over 1,000 books. The guidelines are simple: Every time you finish a book, login to Beanstack to record it.
A time for little ones to sing songs, dance, and play with musical instruments.
A time for little ones to squash, squeeze, roll, flatten, chop and cut with play-doh. Playing with play-doh helps with fine motor development, imagination, and creativity.
The Rubber Ducky club is a monthly activity sheet with the Five Early Literacy Practices every child needs to read, listen, and write. Come into the library starting in October to pick up a sheet. The goal is to finish any 20 activities, initial the boxes, and then bring in the sheet to the library to a choose a rubber duck to take home. This program is for birth to 2 years old.
A time for caregivers and children to interact together with books to help build early literacy. Join us as we listen to stories, sing songs, do a craft and play with toys. Join us every Wednesday at 10 AM.
Come create with Legos! We provide the legos you provide the creativity! This program is for children in grades 1st-8th grade.
Kids get to learn how to build a model plastic (tank, airplane, etc.) by following instructions and getting one on one help from an instructor. Registration is required to attend.
