To create a community-focused library that meets the informational, educational, technological, and recreational needs of a widely diverse public. We are committed to progress on all levels.
Brown County Public Library is one of the county's most utilized resource hubs, with in-house programs, services, and online resources: Libby, Boundless, Beanstack, and Hoopla.
The library is free of charge for all Brown County residents to enjoy.
Brown County Public Library continues to flourish, in spite of inadequate space in many areas including work, meeting, storage, and parking.
A new, larger, more accessible facility designed and built with community input and support will provide opportunities for more resources for a variety of ages from toddlers all the way to senior citizens.
There will be dedicated areas for children, and young adults, historical collections, study rooms, meeting spaces, reading areas, and a large community room!
